Etsy and Shopify 3D Listing Apps: What's Actually Available

Etsy is the complicated news. Etsy does not host 3D viewers on listings. That is not a rumor or a temporary gap. It is just how the platform works right now. When you are evaluating options, check the right things per platform. For Shopify: does the app handle both GLB and USDZ, what does it do to your page speed, how does pricing scale with your catalog. For Etsy workarounds: does the viewer give you a clean shareable link, and how does it look on a phone, since that is where most Etsy traffic lives. For both: what happens to your models if you cancel. Portability matters more than people think until the day they need it.
